On Thursday, July 1, 2021 God in His infinite wisdom reach down into His flower garden and picked out a beautiful flower name Aretha Mae Farmer, and called her to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her late father, Earnest Campbell, late mother, Maggie Mae Dixon Snow, brother, Samuel Farmer, andsister, Patricia Ann Snow .
Aretha attended elementary, middle, and high school within theCumberland County School System, which included attendance at Terry Sanford High School.
She joined membership and was baptized at Rock Springs AME Zion Church in Fayetteville, NC. She served the Lord by offering a helping hand whenever she could until her health began to decline.
She worked in many food service establishments as she loved to cook.
Aretha Mae Farmer leaves to cherish her memories: her step-father, Fred D. Snow of Lumber Bridge, NC; her two sons, Ron Farmer of Fayetteville, NC & Cedric Farmer of Maxton, NC., her only daughter, Chaunacie Farmer, of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers: Rev. Charles Farmer (Carolyn) of Parkton, NC ElderBernard Snow (LaCresha) of Lorton, VA.; sisters: Angela Snow Powell (Dwayne), Eloise Rey (Stennett) both of Fayetteville, NC, Queen Briggs (Chrisler) of Conyers, GA, and step-sister,Barbara Ann Snow of Fayetteville, NC; two uncles: CharlesCampbell of Red Springs, NC & Charlie Dixon of Raeford, NC; eight grandchildren: Zyriah, Zytiana, Za’Marious, Ty’Niya, Keyala, Lamonika, Jayla, and Syncere’ Knowledge and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
