Founded by the visionary Mr. Frankie Patterson, Patterson Memorial Funeral Home stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. From a young age, Mr. Patterson harbored a deep-seated passion for serving his community and found his calling in providing dignified farewell services.

Growing up in Eastover, North Carolina, Mr. Patterson's fascination with honoring the deceased began at just five years old. His innate empathy and keen interest led him to capture their essence through photography, a practice that foreshadowed his future in the funeral industry.

Following his graduation, Mr. Patterson embarked on a journey of apprenticeship, immersing himself in the traditions and practices of various funeral homes across the city. Armed with invaluable experience and a relentless drive, he seized the opportunity to realize his lifelong dream—establishing his own funeral home.

In 2002, Mr. Patterson's vision came to fruition with the acquisition of what was formerly known as Eastover Community Funeral Home. This marked the inception of Patterson Memorial Funeral Home, a beacon of compassion and professionalism in the Eastover community.

Though Mr. Patterson's passing in 2009 left a void, his legacy endured, carried forth by his devoted wife, Mrs. Sharon L. Patterson. With a seamless transition, the funeral home continued to thrive under Mrs. Patterson's leadership, maintaining its commitment to excellence and personalized service.

Transitioning from her profession in hairdressing to becoming a licensed Funeral Director, Mrs. Patterson embodies the same passion and dedication that defined her late husband's legacy. Under her guidance, Patterson Memorial Funeral Home has evolved to offer a comprehensive range of personalized services, tailored to meet the diverse needs and wishes of every family.
