Victor Hannah Obituary

In Loving Memory of Victor S. Hannah

April 4, 1974 – November 17, 2024

Victor Hannah, a proud alumnus of the esteemed Wilson High School in Florence, SC, graduated with the Class of 1993. From a young age, Victor was known for his unwavering dedication and passion, traits that carried through every aspect of his life. After completing high school, he began a remarkable career with Walmart Distribution Warehouse in Hope Mills, NC, where he dedicated over 20 years of hard work and commitment. Later, he transitioned to the Walmart Store Division in Fayetteville, NC, where his co-workers became more than colleagues—they became family. Ever the industrious spirit, Victor also worked with McDonald’s in Fayetteville, NC, creating bonds and memories with those he encountered.

Victor was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, affectionately known as America’s Team. His love for the Cowboys was infectious, and he took great pride in rallying others to join his team, always ready to share his passion for the sport and his favorite players.

On Monday, November 18, 2024, Victor peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Mr. James L. Thompson, whose memory he cherished deeply.

Victor’s love and laughter will forever be remembered by his devoted wife, Theresa C. Hannah of Hartsville, SC, and his loving children: sons Niguel Corbett, Joel E. Hannah, and Jeremiah P. Hannah, and his cherished daughter, Gabrielle F. Hannah. His beloved mother, Doris H. Cooper of Fayetteville, NC, held a special place in his heart, as did his twin sister, Shawn Hannah of NC, and his sister, Kim Thompson.

He also leaves behind his caring sisters-in-law, Berlyn McPhail (Leon) of Florence, SC, and Darlean C. Redden (Lucius) of Rock Hill, SC, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and co-workers who will forever treasure the joy he brought to their lives.

Victor's warmth, dedication, and zest for life touched all who knew him. His love for family, friends, and his Dallas Cowboys will remain etched in the hearts of those he leaves behind. May his memory serve as a reminder of the love and strength he shared during his remarkable life.
