Terry Evers

 Terry Evers, 57, of Hope Mills, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 2, 2024.

Terry was a man who lived life with passion—especially when it came to working on cars, listening to music, and, most importantly, loving his children. He is survived by his son, Tyler Evers, and his stepson, Caleb Coleman, both of whom were the light of his life.

Terry was previously married to Tammy Evers-Prevatte. Though they later divorced, they remained good friends throughout the years.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Evers and Macie Jackson, as well as his brothers Leonard Jackson, Jerry Evers, David Evers, and his sister, Mary Evers. He is also fondly remembered by his beloved nieces, Macy Evers, Melissa Evers, and Taylor Beal.

A memorial service will be held at 102 Main St., Tar Heel, North Carolina, at the home of Tyler Evers, on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The family invites everyone to join them in celebrating the life of a man whose love for cars, music, and family will forever remain in their hearts.
