Ola Mae Moore Clark was born May 16, 1952 to Felton Moore, Sr. and Ellen Moore in Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC after a brief battle with a reoccurrence of cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ralph Vernon Clark who passed away on February 10, 2021, Parents; Felton Moore Sr. and Ellen M. Moore and Sister Dorothy Thomas.
Ola was educated in the public-school systems of Columbus, Georgia and New York City.
Ola went on to attain her certification in Home Health Care where she did private duty nursing. After living and working in Brooklyn, New York for over 53 years Ola decided to make Fayetteville, NC her retirement home where she enjoyed exploring, shopping and even learned how to drive.
Ola was a faithful member of the Country Club Drive Church of Christ in Fayetteville, NC and was an avid notetaker and active bible school participant.
Ola is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn Carter; Fayetteville, NC, Brendolyn Smith; Columbus, GA, and one brother, Felton Moore, Jr (Jeanette); Fayetteville, NC; and stepdaughter Olivia Clark of Brooklyn, NY. “Ola”, “Peggy”, “Aunt Ola”, “Aunt Peggy” will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins and friends. Aunt Ola/Aunt Peggy had an especially close relationship with her Nephew; Felton Moore III of Greensboro, NC, Niece; Joloria Sample of Fayetteville, NC, Great-Niece Abigail Sample of Fayetteville, NC. and her goddaughter; Skymadison “Bubbles” Rhodes of Brooklyn, NY.
