Mr. Jimmy Lee Martin, Jr. was born on August 20, 1983, to the late Jimmy Lee Martin, Sr. and Cloria A. Martin in Nuremberg, Germany. He transitioned from his earthly life on August 10, 2025.

Jimmy graduated in 2001 from Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, NC. With courage and honor, he proudly served in the United States Army for twenty-three years, retiring on February 1, 2024, with the distinguished rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3.

Following his military career, Jimmy continued his service as a loyal and dependable employee with a contractor logistics unit at Fort Bragg, NC. Beyond his professional achievements, he will be remembered for his sincerity and the many roles he so lovingly fulfilled: a devoted husband, a strong and compassionate father, a beloved son, and a respected friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Martin, Sr., and his brother, Anzio S. Martin.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his precious memory: his loving wife of fifteen years, Tara Delancy-Martin of Fayetteville, NC; one son, Malik U. Burroughs (Naya) of Hopewell, VA; two daughters, Makayla S. Burroughs of Hopewell, VA, and Ayasia I. Martin of Fayetteville, NC; his mother, Cloria A. Martin of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Domonic D. Martin (Tomika) of Jacksonville, FL; one grandson, Roman N. Burroughs of Hopewell, VA; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends who will forever treasure his legacy.
