Jimmie Lee Robinson

Mr. Jimmie Lee Robinson departed this life on September 27, 2017 at his residence in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the age of 71.  He was the son of the late Mr. Willie James Robinson, Senior and Mrs. Inez Robinson.

Jimmie Robinson was born on May 21, 1946 in Apalachicola, Florida.  He graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1964.  He served as an active, dedicated president of the Port Saint Joe High School class of 1964.   He joined the United States Army in June 1964 and he retired after 24 years of loyal and dedicated service in August 1990.  After his military career, he joined Werner Fleet Trucking company for 7 years where he recently retired on August 1, 2017.  

Jimmie Robinson leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 36 years, Jacqueline Robinson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, his children Jocelyn and Jasmine Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona, Kim Robinson-Bass of Hephzibah, Georgia (Bruce), his Sister in laws Ella Jones (Chris) and Jennifer Towler of Danville, Virginia, his niece Tyena Bass of Hephzibah, Georgia and his two god children Marion and Ava Grace Williams of Fayetteville, North Carolina. A special adopted daughter Elaine Monroe of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mae Robinson, his brother, Willie James Robinson, Junior and his mother-in-law, Mattie H. Petty.
