Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and confidante, Tina Marie Reaves-Brown, took flight on the wings of a snow-white dove and transitioned from labor to reward on May 15, 2021. She was born on February 4, 1956, to the late Charlotte Mitchell and Roland Reaves, Sr. in Knoxville, TN.
After high school, Tina chose to further her education and relocated to Chicago, Illinois. There, she received her degrees in Sociology and Psychology. After completing school, she then went on to have a successful career as a Postal Carrier.
Tina was passionate about caring for others. She gave unselfishly of herself and provided exceptional care for the loves of her life, her children and grandchildren. She has created innumerable memories with them that they all will cherish forever in their hearts. She desired the absolute best for them and worked diligently to foster their every need. In addition, Tina was a great friend to many! She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need without thinking twice about it.
Tina leaves to cherish her memories to: her children; Rosmarrous Reaves, of Iowa, Edwin Reaves, of Fayetteville, NC, Ronald (Tammy) Reaves, of Fayetteville, NC, Charlotte (James) Crawford, of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Connie Reaves, of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Sierra Reaves, Alyssa Reaves, Shaniece Reaves, Michael Reaves, Marcus Samples, Kristina Crawford, Edwin Reaves, and Hasani Reaves; one great-grandchild, Harmony; a host of cousins, friends, and extended family members. Tina will forever be missed but her legacy will continue living on through those she leaves behind
