I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

To my best friend Omar and family, I will miss Miss Ruby, her smile, laughter and poetry she shared.
Your family was blessed to have her and so was I.
She made me feel like family.
Love you all.

Mother Ruby Ray was a strong presence in our church. She served on the Mother Board, she was a faithful and committed Prayer Warrior. She was a magnificent writer of poetry and dedications for specific people and events. Mother Ray always helped the youth of the church with writing for contests and plays that they were participating in. She sat in the same seat for all of the years that she was able to attend services. There are so many things that could be said about the woman that she was and the memories that she leaves us with. To the family of Mother Ray, we grieve along with you during this difficult time. We will continue to pray for your strength.
